The February Highlights:

Welcome back!
I haven't posted anything since 2016 and it's about time I get going because 2017 is already soooo much better than the year before.
Favs for February:

1. Homemade aprons, cousins, and cookies

Today we had a party with some cousins and baked browned butter and sea salt chocolate chip cookies(Link: Browned Butter and Sea Salt Choc Chip Cookies).
They were absolutely incredible!

Seriously one of my new favorite recipes. So easy and quick and so worth the cup and a half of sugars. Thank you Pinterest and dear cousin Breanna for showing us this delicious concoction.

2. Brothers and Birthdays

On the 23rd day of this month, my brother, Elijah, turned 23.
His darling girlfriend threw him a splendid party and it was so fun to celebrate with such good friends.

3. Succulents and Sunshine

The end of February is when I start feeling like spring is just around the corner even if it still snows every other day and it's absolutely frigid.
The other day I found the most darling little succulents and named them after three certain sisters named Schuyler and they surely are absolutely spectacular.
Having these little ladies in my apartment makes me feel as though the sunlight coming through the window is actually enough to warm up my teeny apartment.

4. Love and Life

February is a month which contains a holiday surrounding a certain saint and that makes it especially mushy and cheesy and absolutely sappy. And I love every bit of it. The romance, the grand gestures, the small gestures, the time with loved ones. It's a beautiful thing and a beautiful time.
