Welcome
Hello! My name is Lauren and this is my blog.
For years I've been wanting to do something creative online that would reach a wide variety of people. I've always wanted to do a YouTube channel but never thought I would be able to do it on my own. My best friend of 12 years started one with me, but being college students, who were busy with homework, rehearsals and other college activities, it became difficult for us to keep up the channel.
I've had friends who have done blogs before and I have loved reading what they had to write but never thought I would have anything to put on the blog. But recently I have decided that a blog would be the best thing for me to keep that would allow me to write anything I want while also sharing my experiences to possibly help other people (or just have other people laugh at how ridiculous I can be).
So to start out, here's a little bit about me and my interests:
From an early age, I developed a love of reading and writing. I always had my nose in a book and upon entering more advanced years of writing in junior high and high school, learned what made a good writer.
I have also loved music for as long as I can remember. I have an extremely musical family where all of the children are required to learn how to play at least one instrument. I began playing the harp at age five and since then dabbled with the piano, violin, flute, guitar and ukulele.
Listening to and playing music has always been one of my biggest passions in life. It has influenced me so much that I want to spend the rest of life working around it. Right now I am in school working toward a career in the music industry. I want to find and work with artists and help them create and market their music the way they want.
In this blog I will be talking about my day-to-day experiences, what is on my mind, my favorite song of the day, an awkward encounter I had, basically anything and everything.
