Post #6: (Watching Paint Dry) Song Six
Hello Everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile but we had midterms and then spring break and then getting back into school after break and then I went to see George Ezra in concert so of course I have to do a post about him.
Today's song is; "Song Six" by George Ezra and I was lucky enough to be able to see him in concert last week. If you don't know who George Ezra is, I highly recommend his music. He is an incredibly talented artist who is also unbelievably kind and humble.
And this paragraph is going to be about my concert experience so if you just want to skip to the song, scroll down:
My friends and I waited in line for 13 hours til the doors opened. But it was a wonderful day filled with laughs and card games and homeless women stealing toothpaste and best of all, we had the opportunity to meet George. He was so sweet and so adorable and just a genuine human being which was so nice to see from someone who is in the spotlight. But, just as he appears in interviews, he is incredibly humble and kind. He is also taller than I was expecting. I am 5'9" and he was quite a few inches taller than me, probably 6'2" which was amazing to find out. He was so nice about taking pictures and talking to us. Because we got in line so early, it was only about 5 people but he didn't rush anyone and was happy to talk with us. Anyway he took pictures and signed my phone and chatted for awhile and then we let him go. Then later at the show, I was first through the door and we all got to be on the front row and it was an amazing experience. I am always in awe of artists who are so genuinely involved and in love with their music and this concert did not disappoint. Then at the end, I got one of his guitar pics and the whole day was just so surreal and wonderful and I will never forget it, so thank you to George Ezra and his team for putting on amazing show.
Okay here's the link to the song, enjoy!
